One of the all-time good guys in hip-hop who spanned 3 different genres and 3 different decades. Responsible for many careers from P. Diddy, Eddie F, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Mary J Blige, Al B Sure, Monifah, Soul IV Real, etc. One of the first artists to be a label's CEO (KRS is the other). It was necessary to do an immediate tribute to his catalog. Gone too soon!
